Ann Richardson and John Nesbitt, at their home in Chimney Corner, with a boat they built and sailed. Ann described catching a large squid when they first went out sailing. This boat was later traded to loal artist Michel Williatte-Battet for a painting. John Nesbitt was a sculptor from New York, who exhibited widely before moving to Cape Breton, and died about a decade ago. Ann Richardson is from Montreal and still lives in Chimney Corner. She is a painter who rarely exhibits her work. On the Cape Breton University campus is a sculpture by John Nesbitt.
