Susie, Sue, Jim and Jimmy Watkins. They built this house at the end of the road in Big Brook, and lived without power until the 1980s when they installed a dam and a hydro-electric generator on the Big Brook. They were from New York state. Susie Watkins married Mose Coady and lives in Antigonish. James (Buzzy) Watkins, who is not pictured, still lives in this house. Jimmy Watkins died in 1977 in a car accident, Sue Watkins died in the 1990s, and Jim Watkins died in 2008.
